Moving with Joy

By the time you read this, I will be in my new home.  It hardly seems possible at the moment, with so many things left to do.  Moving officially rates right up there on the stress scale with divorce and death, and I think it is because such drastic change is involved.  Even though I'm only moving 6 miles, I still have to make all the arrangements (except emptying my piggy bank for gas) as if I were moving 6,000, all while dismantling what has been a carefully constructed haven over the last three and a half years.

But I have to tell you, aside from a little overwhelm at times between packing, writing deadlines, my partner's daughter's wedding and a broken tooth, I am mostly making this significant move in my life--both literally and figuratively--with great joy.  I am intentionally setting myself up to enjoy the process--all of it--from cleaning out cabinets and files to changing my Internet and cable service to scouting out the perfect antique dining room set.

I have intentionally chosen to make this move a joyous one, because just as with everything else, it is so easy to get caught up in the stress, urgency and overwhelm of it all.  It takes some reminding, but we can choose how to experience change, transition and expansion in our lives.  We can judge and say it is taking too long, we aren't good enough at it, it shouldn't be this hard, there is so much to do--or we can decide to move with joy into a new phase of being.

Life is transition.  We are constantly moving through experiences and events, large and small, whether it be a relationship, job change, economic issue or a different living space.  What could you choose to move through with more joy today?

Namaste,

Life-Saving Coaching
I now offer one-on-one Life-Saving coaching.  If you are interested in learning more about my life-saving strategies to take care of yourself, take charge of your life, and commit yourself to action, please call me to schedule your complimentary consultation at 303-321-1010.

Speaking Incentives
I am very close to fulfilling the criteria for my CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) designation, held by less than 10% of professional speakers in NSA.  The criteria is based on the number of speeches, revenue and testimonials over a 5 year period.  I need to give 5 more full fee programs in 2008 to complete my application process and I want to offer some incentives to you if you have speaker needs for 2008:

For my full-fee engagements I can offer the addition of one of the following options:

  1. Additional speech or breakout session (2 for 1)
  2. Additional VIP discussion group
  3. Additional coaching/consultation service
  4. 50 complimentary copies of my book, STOP Living Life Like an EMERGENCY!
  5. Airfare waved

If you are unable to participate in the added services because of budget limitations, I am open to more flexibility with my fee as long as I am booked to speak by December 31, 2008.

If you feel either of my topics, STOP Living Life Like an EMERGENCY! and Finding Your Voice in Work, Love, and Money! are a good fit for your group, please contact me at 888-586-8092 or diane@dianesieg.com to discuss availability and options.  Feel free to refer to my new website www.dianesieg.com for updated program descriptions.

Thank you in advance for your support!
